The NDA has been lifted on the iPhone SDK and the Appstore is the iron bridge of mobile application distribution. All that is needed is an open source iPhone SDK.
One just needs to look at the success of the Apache and Linux open source development juggernauts.
So Symbian, Windows mobile, Blackberry RIM and the iPhone now have a new contender.
Opportunities will abound. Make no mistake the people at Apple will have done their homework.
